Marseille Liquid Soap

A timeless tradition born from the port city of Marseille, France, this liquid soap is made using 72% olive oil, a hallmark of authentic Marseille soapmaking.

Crafted through century-old techniques and patented processes, Rampal Latour preserves over 3% natural glycerin and uses 100% food-grade plant oils as its base.
The result is a formula that is deeply cleansing yet hydrating, offering moisture retention, skin balance, and a gentle touch of natural fragrance.

Free from artificial colorants and harsh chemicals, this soap harnesses the purity of natural essential oils to create a soothing, moisturizing, and sensorially rich bathing experience — a perfect harmony of tradition, care, and French elegance.

Rampal Latour — A Legacy of French Artistry and Purity

Rampal Latour (法文中譯:歐巴拉朵) began as an oil manufacturer and became world-renowned for its mastery of traditional French soapmaking.
The brand faithfully preserves the “Marseille Soap Standard” — a decree established in 1688 by King Louis XIV, defining the royal standard for the production of genuine Marseille soap.

A Century of Excellence

At the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle, Rampal Latour’s pure and authentic Marseille soap triumphed over more than 400 French soapmakers, winning the Gold Medal of Excellence and securing its place as an enduring icon of French heritage.

In the early 20th century, the brand made history once again by creating the world’s first round bath soap — the Sweet Almond Oil Soap, crafted with the moisturizing ingredient beloved by French royalty. Its silky texture and refined fragrance quickly became a timeless favorite among generations of French households.

Five Generations of Craftsmanship

Passed down through five generations, Rampal Latour continues to uphold its original philosophy: using only pure, natural ingredients and traditional soapmaking methods.
Each bar is meticulously crafted through multiple pressing, molding, and shaving processes, polished to perfection like a gem in the palm of your hand.

Combining heritage craftsmanship with modern innovation, Rampal Latour harmonizes historical artistry and contemporary sustainability — preserving a centuries-old French tradition while evolving with the spirit of the times.

Today, Rampal Latour stands not only as a symbol of classic French elegance, but also as a living cultural treasure — embodying the essence of purity, refinement, and enduring excellence.
